Tennouji Park 2019/07/01
The third zoo built in Japan has a history of more than 100 years.
The largest zoo in Osaka, about a kilometer from the four-day king temple is the zoo. Covering an area of over 100,000 square meters. The zoo is on the west side of Tennoji Park and occupies at least half of the park’s area. There are about 230 species and more than 900 animals in the garden, including koalas, raccoons, and only one kiwi in Japan.
In order to give people a more detailed understanding of the relationship between the environment and nature of the animal’s habitat, and to enhance people’s environmental awareness, the zoo added a reptile museum in 1995. After the “IFAR”, the Hippo Pavilion was opened in 1997. At the Hippo Pavilion, many people saw the animals living underwater for the first time.
Recently, the zoo is also investigating new ways to make the artificial environment of the zoo as close as possible to the natural living environment of the animals in order to make people see animals growing in the natural environment.
Tennouji Park is a zoo where full of love . Everything in the park is designed from the needs of children. Self-service vending machines can be seen everywhere in the zoo. There are also fixed stalls and small restaurants.
The park is clean and tidy, and the small animals have their own names and the planning is very reasonable. The Tennoji Park has a long history, so the construction of the museum is inevitably a bit old.
Because the scale is small, there are not many animals. It includes a variety of cute animals such as hippos, raccoons and polar bears. Visitors can buy feed for small animals and experience interaction with small animals.
There are also limited animal shape ice cream and souvenirs in the park, quite cute! There are food and souvenirs in the zoo that you can buy. Most of the people who go there are children, and they are a good place to love animals and educate their children! ! ! And after you buy the ticket, you can still go back to play before 4:00 on the same day.
